I detta inlägg skor jag mig på Angry Arab.

För den som följt Angry Arab en längre tid förstår att det där med skon mot Bush är något mycket speciellt för honom. I flera år har han skämtat om skor. Han har ju framförallt ironiserat över den orientalism som behandlat skoförolämpning som något signifikativt för alla araber. Även jag har bidragit till detta skotema. (läs här: stör mig dock på den klantiga felstavning, missade bokstav, som följt med. ) Nu ger jag er två kommentarer av Angry Arab som handlar om skokastningen mot Bush:

I wish all those Arabs cheering the shoe would take down to the streets and demonstrate against their tyrants and against Israel and they can throw their own shoes at their rulers instead of hypnotically watching scenes of the flying shoe, over and over again.

Ett skomuseum:

Deans of the Press and Publishing syndicates in Lebanon held a special event in honor of the shoe thrower. Somebody suggested opening a "special museum" for the shoe. How does one tour that museum? Like here is the shoe, and then here is the shoe and there is the shoe and here is the sock?
